Basic Tips
The goal of shipwrighting is to move pieces around to match as many patterns as ye can, THEN starting ye combo. 1. Set up the bigger patterns first, then the smaller ones. 2. When you set off patterns, be sure to get rid of the smaller ones first, then the larger ones. 3. Whenever ye set off a pattern, see if the new pieces have made another pattern. If the new pattern matches a smaller piece, use that one before setting your 5-piece pattern. 4. Ye need experience to get 2 5-piece patterns, so that should be ye first goal. 5. Watch the flag. If it gets close to the top, try to finish a combo set with just one notch left. Then make another set so ye can use the extra time to the fullest. 6. No piece is 'stuck'. Practice using combinations of pieces to move pieces to where ye want.
Advanced Tips
1. Try to make 4-4-5-5 every set. 2. With the remaining pieces, make what patterns ye can, just in case they come up next. (So have to remember the patterns! ) 3. Count the number of pieces ye have fer each type of piece, and use gold pieces fer the type ye have the least. Gold pieces give bonus points, so try to set off the pattern with a gold piece as late in the combo as ye can. 4. To get Ult, you must do a minimum of 4 patterns, if you fail to do so on the first board, abandon before moving any pieces and get a new board so it doesn't count against you. To make Ult, you always have to do a minimum of 4 patterns a turn to get those increds.
